Sarten’s 45th year celebration events continue with the family festivals in the regions. Sarten Silivri plant employees and their families get together at family festival which is held at Silivri Gümüşyaka Çamlık Gölet picnic area on September 17, Sunday. Sarten’s founder Mr. Yusuf Sarıbekir, Sarten Board President Mr. Zeki Sarıbekir and Board Member Mrs. Zeren Sarıbekir Güzelbahar and Mrs Zeynep Oğuz has attended the festival. Around 1.200 people had a fun day with special activities during the whole day. The 166 senior employees, who had played a role in Sarten’s success and who worked for Sarten for 10-45 years, were awarded with plaquettes.
Sarten Packaging Board President Mr. Zeki Sarıbekir said: “We have reached the position where we are now through qualified labor force. Thus, it is very important for us to celebrate our 45th year with our employees and their families. We hope, we will be together at our 50th year celebration as well. We are expanding Sarten with your help. I believe that we will grow bigger in the following years together with your contributions”. And he continues: “Today, Sarten is the biggest integrated packaging manufacturer of Turkey. As Sarten, we produce healthy and high-quality metal and plastic packaging for our customers in various sectors such as canned, cooking oil, agricultural pesticide, mineral oil, paint and cosmetics. We are positioning Sarten as “Supermarket of Packaging.” And, we reflect this motto in every step of our business to provide our industry with the quality, the fast solution at affordable price. We continue to work on cost decreasing projects, automatization investments, increase of capacity in needed areas, new plant investments. Our adventure, which started in Çorlu in 1972, goes on with 18 plants in total; Silivri, Gebze, Gemlik, Karacabey, Manisa, Ayvalık and Adana plants are in Turkey and Bulgaria, Russia and Holland plants are in abroad. A great effort and hard work lay behind this success. We have reached the position where we are now through qualified labor force”.
Mr Sarıbekir mentioned that until the end of October, in every region Sarten is operate they will continue the family festivals which are organized special for 45th year. Celebrations will be continuing not only with employees but also with the clients and suppliers of us.
