Turkey’s leader packaging producer Sarten, won the grand prize at metal category of “Metallic Stars of Export” award ceremony organized by Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters Association.

At the 8th “Metallic Stars of Export” award ceremony, 70 successful exporter company from 14 different categories are awarded.

Sarten CEO Zeki Sarıbekir said: “We are very pleased to win the grand prize again. I would like to thank everyone who contributed. A great effort and hard work lay behind this success”.

2018 target is $100 million export

Sarıbekir mentioned that Sarten has export to over 80 countries from Turkey, and he added: “As 2017 year-end we made 85 million dollars export. Our target for 2018 is 100 million dollars. Our export is mainly done to EU, Middle East and North Africa. we continue our work and investments parallel to our vision which is “To be the “leader packaging company” which grows with continuous investments – in and around Turkey.

Sarten: The supermarket of Packaging

Sarıbekir continued: “As Sarten, we produce healthy and high-quality metal and plastic packaging for our customers in various sectors such as canned, cooking oil, agricultural pesticide, mineral oil, paint and cosmetics. We are positioning Sarten as “Supermarket of Packaging. we reflect this motto in every step of our business to provide our industry with the quality, the fast solution at affordable price. We continue to work on cost decreasing projects, automatization investments, increase of capacity in needed areas, new plant investments. Our adventure, which started in Çorlu in 1972, goes on with 18 plants in total; Silivri, Gebze, Gemlik, Karacabey, Manisa, Ayvalık and Adana plants are in Turkey and Bulgaria, Russia and Holland plants are in abroad.
