Sarten Sourcing Policy

Sarten Sourcing Policy

 As SARTEN;

We commit to complying with the laws of the countries that Sarten operates, taking necessary measures to combat corruption, and never engaging in bribery or illegal payments, either directly or indirectly. We adhere to principles of not maintaining off-the-record or secret funds or assets, hosting only for business purposes, and giving and receiving gifts that are of no material value and not recurring.

We maintain our loyalty to the company by avoiding situations where personal interests conflict with company benefits. We ensure that the payments made to individuals providing goods and services, including intermediaries and consultants, are proportional to and solely in exchange for the services or products received.

We evaluate the potential impacts of presence and operations, before making new investments. We encourage our suppliers to avoid using conflict minerals and require them to certify that their metals are not conflict-related. We are committed to exclude conflict metals and minerals (Tantalum, Tungsten, Tin, Gold) that contribute to conflict from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and surrounding countries from our products. Additionally, we aim to source all our paper and packaging from recycled materials or certified sustainably managed sources by 2026.

We establish sustainable and environmental friendly procurement policies in line with our company policies. In this context, we adopt green procurement and green supply methods, which are aimed to reduce our environmental footprint and optimize our resource use. Green supply chain management requires our suppliers to adhere to environmental standards, while we prioritize environmental factors in the selection of materials and services in line with our sustainability principles.

We do not work with business partners and suppliers who may act against the above-mentioned principles and adopt these principles in all our activities. We see it as an inevitable condition to continue our activities as part of modern society by adapting the Sarten principles in order to the evolve living conditions over time.
